Seasons Greetings from Port Tampa Bay

With the holidays upon us and the New Year beckoning, an important global event will take place in April 2016. The much-anticipated, much-discussed expansion of the Panama Canal will be complete. The third set of locks will accommodate larger, Panamax vessels and more traffic.  

Florida’s 15 seaports are eager to capture a larger share of new global trade routes.

This economic development message was provided by Port Tampa Bay.

Here’s hoping Santa Claus brings lots of his goodies by container ship to Florida shores.
