Magic Leap’s Magic Demo

A homegrown Florida company, Magic Leap, based in Dania Beach, sent shock waves through the tech world and the startup venture captal arena when it secured a staggering $542 million in Series B financing led by Google last October.

The company’s Digital Lightfield proprietary technology allows users to “see” virtual objects in real time as if they were actually there in front of you.

Operating largely behind the scenes, the company is making good on its promise of sneak peeks and slowly unveiling its augmented reality (AR) technology with a newly released video on Thursday, March 19, showing just what it can do. Titled, “Just another day in the office of Magic Leap,” it shows AR graphics in a real-life setting, namely its own office space.

Rony Abovitz, founder and CEO of Magic Leap, advised us to stay tuned for “gold tickets coming.”
