Florida companies are given the opportunity to exhibit to more than 78,000 visitors at the largest medical trade show in the Middle East
This week, Enterprise Florida, Inc. (EFI) hosted the Florida pavilion at Arab Health 2014, the second-largest medical trade show worldwide, for three days in Dubai.
The Florida Showcase, the largest state exhibit in the U.S. Pavilion, allowed 21 small and mid-sized companies, six of which are from the Super Region, to share their medical and healthcare products to an international audience.
EFI’s mission to assist Florida company’s growth and success was continued with the Arab Health trip. Without their efforts, many of these companies would not have had the opportunity to attend nor would they have been able to effectively reach an audience as large as the trade show’s. Historically, Florida was the first state to attend the international event and has continued to be present for nearly a decade.
Recently, EFI hosted another trip for Florida companies to attend the Dubai Airshow, which fostered millions of dollars for the state. After this victory in late 2013, EFI is hopeful Arab Health will bring Florida additional prosperity to the state.
“This collaborative effort is a cost-effective opportunity for companies to showcase their products to an extensive and exclusive international audience. By helping to promote trade opportunities for these companies, we are helping them expand their reach and grow, creating new jobs for Floridians,” said Secretary of Commerce and EFI President & CEO, Gray Swoope.
