Earlier this month, Space Florida and the University of Central Florida’s Office of Research and Commercialization released a call for applications to high-tech businesses based in Florida.
The “CAT5 Awards,” will allow 10 selected companies the opportunity to present their business plans and cases to a number of potential funding sources. In addition to this opportunity, the top two plans will receive a combined total of $150,000 in monetary awards through a Space Florida sponsorship ($100,000 for first place and $50,000 for second place).
CAT5 Awards’ applications are due November 1, 2013 at 5 p.m.
